ouch!

Sigh.
Yesterday had to restrain someone at work. Managed to bang my elbow fairy hard and now it's all swollen.
Keep whacking it on things as well. I think I've always whacked my elbow on things and just not noticed, but now that it's all bruised I'm really feeling it.

Anyway, yesterday's training was boxing in morning and then managed to grab forty minutes between shifts in the evening to do the following:

Warm up : mobility
Deadliting (at speed) 60kg x 3, 90kg x 3, 100kg x 3, 110kg x 3, 120kg x 3, 130kg x 3, 140kg x 3, 140kg x 3, 140kg x 3. All within 15 minutes.

Then 50 press ups.

Then this morning was boxing and sparing up until the point when Fraser (my training partner) managed to get in close and dump me. did a break fall, but the shock of it on my bloody elbow!

Ouch ouch ouch.

Right, 45 minutes in gym.

Press ups-
Narrow - 30, 5(ply), 10, 3 (ply
Wide - 10,10,10

Bench (explosive)
Bar x 3, 60k x 3, 80k x 3 (poor form), 80k x 3 (good form), 90k x 3 (poor form),
90k x 3 (good form), 100k x 2

Shoulder press

Pull ups 6, 5

Dips x 10

Certainly easier than going from bench to squat...

Will see what effect it has on my cough (only one coughing fit)

rushed!

Right, just eaten, going to go gym and do some power work. Upper body today. Normally I mix Bench with squat, but I'm going to try something different. These next 9 weeks (only 9 weeks!) I'm just going to experiment, see what works well, what doesn't.

First

Well, here we are.

This is my first post.

Am heading out to Japan on April 5th to help a friend set up a dojo .

This'll be a place for me to keep people up to date on my wacky adventures and my general shenanigans.
